The LipoSelection Procedure

Filed under: Mean And Lean: Fitness Infos, Medical Center, University Of History — admin at 11:49 am on Wednesday, June 18, 2008

Liposelection is the latest kind of liposuction procedure. This is an ultrasonic process. In the procedure of liposelection treatment, ultrasonic energy is used as a method to remove fats. The ultrasound vibes breaks up the fats to make it liquidified and then remove the unwanted fats. The liposelection process is much safer as the liposelection experts aims on the fat tissues only leaving the surrounding tissues. As a result the surrounding nerves, blood vessels, and tissue virtually unharmed. Before the treatment, you will have a local anesthesia. If you want you can have general anesthesia as well.

After the sedative is applied on the patient undergoing liposelection treatment, the surgeon will fill the area to be treated with a saline solution. With the effective solutions the tissues of the area to be treated get numb and blood vessels are shrunk. With this you suffer least possible pain. You will not also have to suffer the after surgery bruises and swelling unlike other methods of its kind.
Then A small high frequency sound is passed through the affected area to break up fat on contact causing less or no harm to the surrounding tissues. Fats are now extracted in the liposuction tubes to reshape your body.

No doubt liposelection treatment is a safe process. But the professional has restricted the patients to a certain limit that must be followed to keep a healthy body. You can remove fats from the areas like arms, chin, neck, and inner thighs with complete safety. The other functional areas of the treatment includes abdomen, thighs, buttocks, knees, hips, back, male breasts, and love handles. Be 100% sure that you will get your shape back in place and admirers too. No bruise will harm your beauty. Go ahead. Discover a new self in you without causing you pains.

POS Hardware

Filed under: Information Technology — admin at 3:06 am on Monday, June 16, 2008

Technology can be very confusing for a buyer, especially when there a hundreds of products to choose from and it is necessary to decide which will suit his or her needs. Knowing some basics about point of sale (POS) requirements will simplify things to a large extent. Here is some basic information about POS equipment for a beginner!

Every POS system has some hardware requirements and needs physical input and output devices to carry out the commands of remote system software and to guarantee the smooth functioning of business transactions in a restaurant or a retail outlet. Some of the mandatory hardware includes computer terminals, receipt printers, cash drawers, magnetic stripe readers, check readers, monitors or screens, keyboards, barcode scanners, and customer display screens. These are aimed at time-effective and error-free sales transactions, where every activity is machine driven and manual input is minimal.

Computer terminals with operating systems like Windows or Linux are essential to map the software into Windows or Java and to integrate it with the mechanical devices. Receipt printers for retail outlets and hotels come with cash drawer ports and both the printers and the cash drawers share a single port with the PC, leaving other PC ports free for other peripherals of the POS system. Barcode scanners read product information from the price tag of the products and feed the information into the computer, which then processes it and prints it. Magnetic stripe card readers and check readers are essential for vendors who accept payment through cards and checks. Apart from drawing money from the customer’s account, these devices also prevent fake checks and credit card accounts from getting submitted. The scanners and readers are usually wedges in point-of-sale keyboards, which come with a maximum of 101 keys for industry-specific functions.

Monitors and touch-screen displays are used as both input and output devices depending on the individual needs of a vendor. Fourteen-inch monitors are most widely used, but nine- or ten-inch monitors are used in some cases, especially when they are used as display boards for product or menu information and pricings.

Career Advice: Are Resumes Obsolete As A Primary Job Search Tool?

Filed under: Aid — admin at 9:37 am on Sunday, June 15, 2008

In a day of background checks, pre-employment drug screening and multiple interviews, where do resumes fit in? According to many successful job applicants, not very well. An ever-increasing number of new hires say that resumes were not crucial in landing them the job. Instead, they simply played a part in sealing the deal. If that’s true, it means that mailing out resumes and waiting for the phone to ring is the last thing any recent grad or serious job seeker will want to do.

It’s no secret that many large corporations waste thousands of hours scanning and combing over resumes that may not even be viable. That’s because they tend to warehouse tens of thousands of them in a process that is antiquated and inefficient. By some estimates, corporations do not even get around to scanning a resume until at least two to six months after receiving it. Once in their system, it can sit there for up to five years. This unproductive system is fed by a fear of lawsuits, misplaced ambition to hire the cream of the crop and imbedded bureaucracy at its worst.

A good resume will still get you a job, but it may not be the one you want. Too many job seekers make the mistake of bulk mailing, emailing or faxing out resumes. This invites unwanted responses offering lesser positions or bogus proposals from professional recruiters just trying to get you signed up with their agency. Read the fine print before you submit anything to anyone. Companies of all sizes are using Employment Agencies to prescreen people.

Most Employment Agencies are for people with little to offer, who need immediate employment and are willing to settle for less. Those who do have the right stuff usually end up being talked into some temp position with the promise of something better down the road. Temping is for people with itchy feet who love the idea of going from place to place every month. While it may be temporarily profitable, it doesn’t do much for your employment record.

Some years ago, I had lunch with a very successful businessperson. He had plans to start a new publishing business and needed someone with diverse skills and tons of personality as an assistant. I suggested someone I knew, but warned him that my friend would probably not stay for the long haul. She had what it took to get him started, but then he would have to hire someone else for the long-term after things started happening. While he seemed pleased with the suggestion, he hated temporary workers and short-term hires. If he saw more then three previous employers on any resume for a full time, long-term position, he just chucked it out.

Today’s successful job applicant has to get his or her foot in the door. They have to make contact on a personal level with recruiters from prospective employers. That means lots of footwork. It means attending those job fairs that we all hate. Job fairs and school-sponsored employment meet ups are quickly becoming the best ways to start a successful career. It’s a chance to go one on one with people who can get you a sit down.

Part of getting your foot in the door means trying to schedule appointments instead of mailing our resumes. Once you have the appointment, then email or fax your resume. Easier said then done? Not really. Employers who are serious about hiring are likely to do so within the next few weeks. They are anxious to work the phones and set up interviews. You may get juggled around a bit on the phone, but it’s better then spending a fortune on postage and just sitting by the phone.

Use your resume as a quick way to seal the deal. If you have what it takes and the personality to back it up, your resume should reflect that. Less is more. Be sure there is lots of WHITE SPACE. That tells a prospective employer that you are willing to sell it, but not give it away. Avoid excessive bolding or italics. Research keywords for the position you want. Headhunters and corporate scanners are looking for those keywords and will give priority status to people smart enough to use them. Stay on topic. Forget the references, personal hobbies and other nonsense. That comes later. Proofread as many times as it takes and don’t be afraid to ask a mentor or professional job recruiter to critique your resume.

A good introductory resume is one page that represents you in the best possible light. I suggest that you examine dozens of samples online and make notes on what really stands out to you. Use those notes when you create your resume, but always be sure it represents the real you. NEVER LET SOMEONE ELSE PREPARE YOUR RESUME! I cannot tell you how many times people have told me that after their resume got them the job, their interview lost it for them. That’s because they were unable to live up to the hype. If you have the goods, you had better be able to sell them.

Networking, job fairs, employment meet ups, career days and mentor referrals are the best way to land a top-notch position. If you have a particularly desirable skill that qualifies you for a position in the medical, technical or management fields, then it might pay to enlist the help of a fee-based agency that represents those kinds of job seekers. No matter who ends up paying the fee, it’s in their best interest to find you a premium position.

While a resume is no longer a job seekers best friend, it’s still a necessary and important communication tool that bridges an information gap between you and your prospective employer. Prepare and use it as a secondary contact resource. Allow your personality and communication skills to be the primary instruments of your success. Hit the pavement and hunt down those headhunters.

Bridesmaids - Keep them Happy: Don’t let Wedding Planning come between You and Your Girlfriends

Filed under: House Of Relationships — admin at 11:27 pm on Saturday, June 14, 2008

BRIDES - FEND YOUR FEMALE FRIENDSHIPS!

When it comes to weddings, your girlfriends help you hold it together. Don’t let wedding planning ruin your friendships.

You’re planning a wedding, and emotions are high. Triumphs, upsets, smiles, tears, laughter, doubts - the emotional roller coaster will surely go full force as you prepare for the big day.

And so they’re by your side - your bridesmaids, that is - offering strength and support along the way to ensure a smooth ride on your journey towards “man and wife.” They’ve done a lot for you over the years, these special women in your life. They’ve wiped your tears through that difficult breakup, cheered when you landed that big promotion and supported you when you made the snap decision to move cross country on a whim in your early twenties.

In fact, your best girlfriends may have been the most important people in your life - up until now. Now you’re planning a wedding, and they’re not. And somehow, you’re no longer in the same place - no longer quite in synch. After the initial congratulatory exclamations subside, distress can erupt on the friendship front. From gripes about bridesmaids’ dresses and wedding planning logistics, to deeper issues of insecurity and envy, even the best support systems can collapse from the pressure.

It’s easy when wrapped up in the drama of wedding planning to lose the force that ties women together in that uniquely female impenetrable bond of friendship. Don’t. If you’re feeling the closeness slipping away amidst your wedding planning - do something about it. These are the people who have stood by your side through all of life’s most monumental transitions. You needed them then - you need them now.

Communication
..it’s the buzzword for healthy relationships. You’ve heard that you must maintain open communication with your fiancé and future husband in order to make your marriage work. The same goes for relationships with your girlfriends. Keep the lines of communication open, and avoid the tendency for tension and division when “one of the girls” gets engaged.

With the existence of email, there really is no excuse for losing touch with your friends. Of course, phone calls and face to face meetings are always better, but brides-to-be pushed to the scheduling brink can always send a friendly email. And no - every email can’t simply be a wedding update - ask them about their lives too; you remember how to be a friend, don’t you?

Girls Night Out
Arrange a girls night - and celebrate them for a change. You probably aren’t doing much wedding planning on a Friday night anyway, so try to round up your girls for a night out on the town. Don’t worry - you don’t have to plan anything (that’s the last thing you need). Just shoot an email (yes, email is fine) to your gal pals with a time and place to meet for a happy hour, movie or dinner. Your girls are busy too, so even if everyone can’t make it, your friends will appreciate your effort to reach out.

Involve Them In Your Plans
Some of your wedding plans can be a group effort; add a bottle of wine, some cheese and crackers, and you’ve got yourself a fun little get together. No - they’re not your slaves - and you shouldn’t demand your friends spend hours stuffing envelopes. But if they ask to help - take them up on it. Make it fun; chat about non-wedding topics while you work.

So yes, while it is YOUR day; don’t forget to nurture your relationships with your bridesmaids. They are by your side to offer support and friendship; make sure you do the same for them.

Cater For Any Event

Filed under: Internet Information — admin at 8:59 pm on Saturday, June 14, 2008

In the early 90’s it was registered that London had no exact method of advocating or rating Moroccan restaurants. An idea was forecasted to publish a restaurant publication which would be overflowing with delightful London places to eat including Syrian restaurants plus a range of charges. The food guide would be in the size of a portable pocket book and it would make it simple to carry all over with you.

What makes the food guides so special & dissimilar from any other eating guide is the fact that the eateries are recommended by normal people, not proficient restaurant reviewers. After the achievement of the food guide, later followed the success of the review website, The food review website itself might well tell you just about everything you need to consider about pretty much each Mexican restaurants in London, it’s uncomplicated to navigate around & has an outstanding search region where you just have to put in the name of the Israeli restaurants & what county it is in and restaurant review website will find it for you. Get some help with finding Caterers in London with Hardens.

The informative website itself has three different sections in all, the capital Restaurants, British Isles eateries and Venues and Parties. the capital and UK eateries are pretty self explanatory, places and parties is a part that offers venue & service hire.

Parties and Events is all based on striving to make organising a party & an event as uncomplicated as possible. the places to eat have options to help you with everything along with offers on what Harden’s believe will work well & added extras. The 1st sub bit is the venue searcher, with this all one would have to do is enter your city & the number of people coming that would suit you & it will probably bring up all the venues and bars and pubs. There is also a services finder so if one would are looking for Nottingham Caterers to cater your birthday party then maybe Hardens is currently able to make ideas for you. Other options consist of birthday entertainment, food and drink, costume hire and other essentials.

We don’t do Presentations …

Filed under: Web Management — admin at 11:14 am on Saturday, June 14, 2008

… we just have meetings.

Seriously?

I’ve come across that comment a few times in the last year or so and I’ve never challenged it at the time: there are too many people around who recognise that they need help to spend time worrying about those who think they don’t. And yet at the back of my mind I’m aware of a slightly guilty feeling.

After all, just because these people don’t think they - or their staff - are making presentations doesn’t mean they don’t need help at it. In fact there’s an argument to suggest that precisely because of this belief they’re more likely than most to need help!

Because I’m that sad kind of person, I lay awake at night mulling this idea over. Perhaps they were right and there really are no presentations of any kind in their place of work. Perhaps no-one ever had to provide information to anyone else face-to-face in an even semi-structured way. Perhaps they never met each other on the corridor and asked each other how things were going and updated each other on the progress of this-or-that-project. Perhaps they did everything in a completely organic (indeed anarchic!) way. Perhaps their sales and PR staff never have to meet the public or potential clients.

Perhaps.

But I didn’t think so.

I’ve never seen and organisation like this and I don’t expect I ever will. So why do people tell me they don’t do presentations (often with a bit of a sneer, trying to tell me that they thought I was a bit of a fool for suggesting it)? I guess it boils down to definitions.

My definition of a presentation is - as you’ll have guessed - pretty catholic. It’s about the process, not the place. It can take place formally, when everyone is sitting down and facing the speaker as he or she fights with nerves and notes, or it can be done informally, perhaps as people pass on corridors, at water coolers or (as I’ve seen more times than people will believe) going into or out of the office toilets! In such times, people aren’t worried about the process of presenting itself (they’ve got more important things on their minds), such as getting a coffee, a cold water, or washing their hands) and so all they have to do is “get on with” passing on the information.

I can remember a book I read a long time ago. The (anti-) hero is being asked by another character to teach her to fight. He declines but is eventually hounded into agreeing to a challenge: he agrees to throw an orange and if the woman asking for training successfully catches it, he must train her. If she fails, she goes away and never bothers him again. The stakes are high.

He throws and she catches. Annoyed, the hero asks her what she’s just done: she’s exhaulted and talks breathlessly about winning the right to be trained, to stay, to become a master like him; she talks about beating the odds and about defying his expectations.

He shakes his head and points out that at that moment, when he threw, none of those things were happening. At that moment, all she did was catch the orange.

Presentations are kind of like that. Just catch the orange. The stakes aren’t important.

And that’s how these people can present at the water cooler but not in the boardroom. When the stakes are higher they forget that all they’ve got to do is catch the orange and they start to get hooked up on the idea of what they might win.

And what they have to lose.

Let’s not get carried away, by the way: there’s a skill to catching oranges which people need to be taught and they need to practice: it’s not as easy as all that.

If it was, I’d be out of a job, but there are three steps to making better business presentations, I’d suggest.

1 - recognise that you make them. I’ve never met anyone who made none.

2 - recognise that you just need to catch the orange; the consequences will take care of themselves

3 - get some training on how to catch oranges if it’s important to you or if you ever drop them

We all make presentations, we all catch (or drop!) oragnes….. just a thought….

The Internet is now a new frontier. There are new millionaires being made everyday. There are so many different ways to make money on the Internet. You could……

Sell information: You can become a day trader in Stocks

Sell a product: Futures

Sell a service: Forex

There are just so many ways to go. You can even play Texas Holdem and win your way to a final table to win millions like Chris Moneymaker.

All you have to do is find your niche. Something that you are very good at or something you are willing to learn. Like what are some of your hobbies? Do you collect stamps, build models, remote controlled cars, planes and boats? This is just a few. Do a search on your talent or knowledge. What did you find? Could you say more? Could you say it better?

What about paperhanging, tilefloors, lead glass windows just a few more ideas. Many peple would pay for how to ebooks. So search your hobbies and your knowledge areas. You can learn how to write an ebook and then sell it on the Internet. You would be surprised how easy and profitable it is. If you really would like to change you life here is a very good way to do it.

Just find your special niche an then learn to market it. There are millions of searches done everyday on Google, MSN, and Yahoo just to name a few. You can learn to sell you ebook by using articles, emails,{no spamming}safelist, ebay, banners, paid per click and of course your website. Learning to build your own website can be exciting and fun too.

One of the things that have made Internet marketing a bad word are the affiliate programs that you get talked into and all they do is give you a website and tell you to show it to your family and friends. They give you banners and emails to mail out to all your friends and family. You get a few sales from them . But then you find it hard to get any more. Then they get disappointed and quit. But if the company only makes 1 or 2 sales off each affiliate that still hundreds of sells for them.

If you create the ebook on how to do something and sell it you can start your own affiliate program. Then you become the person getting everyone else selling for you.

Paying It Forward: A True Story

Filed under: Occultism — admin at 9:58 am on Friday, June 13, 2008

What is the Spirit of Recovery?

The Spirit of Recovery is based on biblical principles.
It is our intention to provide a service to the community and to our Creator.
Our hope is to provide a means for people to succeed in business with an emphasis on families.
Our Goal is to be a part of the strengthening of the family unit by providing a path that we too have at one time or another walked. Hopefully we can guide the people around some of the traps and snares in business and in life.

The Founder of CrowSites.com has had great challenges in the past, with sickness, tragedy, injury that caused great loss to him and his loved ones. Through many struggles, much perseverance and the Grace of our Creator he overcame what seemed to be “against all odds”.

His personal mission now is to use the negative experiences as well as the positive ones to help others.

This is his story which explains why he has this mission.

After a horrible accident which crushed my shoulder, sent the C1 vertebrae inch into my brainstem and a severe brain injury our family was left with little to no income and as time passed we began to lose everything to the point of being homeless and living on the street. This is a very cruel and painful way for a man to see his family have to live. One day a man stopped us on the street and asked us what was going on. He asked how this happened and we explained. We were dirty, tired, hungry, scared and losing all hope fast. This man put us into the car, as dirty as we were and said nothing. He went and got us a place to stay, clean clothes and food. He handed me an envelope and said here, I hope this will help. I was in awe! I asked for his address or a way to contact him to repay him. He refused, but He did ask me to make him one promise, a solemn promise. He asked me to promise, that when I overcame that I would do one thing, “Pay it forward”.

I made that promise… After recovering for a few days in a warm place, clean and filled with food, I used the resources he had given to get into a Rehabilitation Program. I spent two years learning to do a lot of things over again. Overcoming the injuries, learning how to live again and I was given an intensive education in marketing and business. I worked hard and felt like giving up on more than one occasion but I pushed on. For all my hard work and perseverance I was given the very honorable award of “Client of the Year Award” for the entire state out of thousands of nominees. A dinner was held in my honor with an award from the Governor. I made a promise to that man that day long ago and to my self the day I received the award. My promise was to try to help take one tear from a child’s eye, one tear from a mother’s eye and one tear from a father’s eye.

This brings us to the here and now.

Free Dog Training Tips: Easy Steps to You Leading the Pack, part 3

Filed under: Animal Fun — admin at 9:43 pm on Wednesday, June 11, 2008

Be a leader, a dog will follow.

From the last two articles, remember King and his dominant dog behavior? King was the leader of his pack — Mom, Dad, 2 kids. King set the rules in the house and didn’t hesitate to enforce them, with growling, snapping, and even biting. I introduced 3 simple dog training steps to help you begin to take the leadership role back from King.

Then there was Queenie and her family (especially Mom), who gently took the leadership position. Queenie learned dog manners and wonderful dog behavior through Mom’s gentle but firm positive dog training methods and her consistency in teaching Queenie house rules. Queenie was eager to learn and to please and received lots of praise and tons of treats. With humans as pack leaders and dogs as pack members (preferably at the bottom of the hierarchy!), the whole household is calm and happy.

Let’s talk about your household. Your angel might not be as dominant or aggressive as King, and you may have worked with her some but not quite enough to have a dog similar to Queenie. Time is sometimes a factor — with our lives as busy as they are, sometimes it’s difficult to make time to for even short periods of dog training. But if you’ll give it a little effort, the payoff will be tremendous. You can change your dog’s behavior in no time at all.

I want to give you a few more new recommendations for regaining leadership in your pack. But first, I want to review some of the ones found in the first two articles. For the complete list, go to http://www.best-dog-articles.com.

SOME REVIEW STEPS

Get their attention first — say Fido’s name before you say the command.

Be kind — Use a gentle voice, give commands and direction calmly and lovingly.

Let’s play — YOU start and end all games. Keep them wanting more.

Let’s EAT — YOU eat before feeding the dog.

Praise, praise, praise – Pour on the praise for good dog behavior and good manners.

NEW STEPS

1. Are you sick?!

One of the first concerns with new or unwanted behaviors (e.g., excessive urination) is a health concern. Get a vet check to address any health concerns that might cause behaviors your dog has no control over.

2. Down every day!

Put your dog in a “down” position for 5-10 minutes every day. This reinforces for your dog that you are the leader. Beginning this program may involve many jump-ups. Just gently and firmly put the dog back down. (No need to restart time.) You will notice that the breaks of command quickly fall away. It’s fine for your dog to sleep through this one!

3. Do that AGAIN!

Dogs love routine. They have incredible internal clocks. One activity that dogs love and that routine is important is mealtime. I suggest feeding dogs two times a day (no running buffet) within an hour window each time (e.g., 7-8AM and 5-6PM). Watch your dog — if you do something regularly, they come to expect it and act appropriately. Other activities that can become routine are morning or evening walks, Saturday errands, the time you come home from work. If it’s a regular thing, your dog knows it’s going to happen.

4. Brush, brush, brush the coat!

One activity you both can enjoy is grooming. Daily gentle grooming reinforces a loving relationship with your dog. This can become prized private time for both of you.

5. Through the paces– Every day!

Obedience training is very important to do every day, even for 5 minutes at a time. Try to avoid the military commando approach. Be consistent and kind, get your dog’s attention first, praise, praise, praise for his willingness and compliance to your commands. Practicing obedience reinforces that you are the leader.

CONCLUSION

That’s it! You now have the arsenal for regaining the leadership position in your pack and getting some good dog behavior practices in place. Emphasizing the positive in your dog training efforts pays off exponentially — your dog will be your friend for life and won’t be scared of you. When you establish yourself as leader, dogs respect you and will work so hard to please you. Take the time to get these easy steps into your daily routine and watch the changes magically occur.

Wishing you a calm and happy adventure with your canine companions.
